An opening reception for landscape artist Harriet Libby Bitar’s June show will be held at the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive, Farmington on Saturday, June 4, from 2:00 – 4:00PM in the main lobby. The show, “Agri-art” will feature oil painting scenes of Northern Maine potato fields in summer blossom and during fall harvest, as well as of Connecticut’s apple orchards.
Having grown up in the part of Maine where everyone joined in on the potato picking culture, Bitar enjoys painting harvest-related subjects, whether they are of potato or apple gathering
